Questions
What time do Nintendo eShop games come out?
Nintendo says digital-only games usually unlock at 9:00 AM PT on release day, games that also come out on a cartridge usually unlock at 9:00 PM PT the night before, and some third-party games wait until 12:00 PM PT. The publisher decides.
Do eShop games come out at midnight?
Some do. Games that also come out on a cartridge usually unlock at 9:00 PM PT the night before, which is midnight Eastern. Digital-only games usually wait until 9:00 AM PT on release day.
Why did a game come out at a different time?
The publisher decides the launch time, so any game can go live earlier or later than the usual times. Each release-time page on Blippd says whether its time is confirmed, predicted from past launches, or not known yet.
